i was raised in a place where they promised me that i could go to school for free and if i did well enough there, my parents would harvest money every year to pay for me to study somewhere i could learn to be exceptional in what i like.

it didn’t seem like such a bad idea

then i had to grow up elsewhere, in a place where i could pay expensive fees every year to go to a school good enough to proportionate me minimal knowledge so i could get in to a superior education for free.

now i feel conflicted.

my older opinions still prevail, though it is shunned by those who grew up in the latter.
